HVAC Apprentice

Responsibilities:

Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Organize work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints; gathering required materials

Keep all tools and equipment in good operating condition

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications

Qualifications:

Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields preferred

Current tech school students and recent tech school graduates will be strongly considered

Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams

Developing proficiency with residential and light commercial heating and cooling equipment including: gas, oil, electric, heat pump, ductless, and boiler systems

Ability to handle physical workload

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Valid Drivers License

Own set of hand tools
